Varanda Roots

A renowned school made discoverable to people who have not met it yet.

A bilingual institutional website that organizes the school, classes, teachers, events and contact paths in one address.

Bilingual Varanda Roots home page with its community
The opening connects the school’s identity, its course and a real image of its community.

01 · Context

In-person recognition, a scattered digital presence

The school and its teachers are well known in Salvador’s roots forró scene and abroad, but they lacked an institutional address capable of presenting that history to different audiences.

The website had to make the school discoverable, explain its activities and turn interest into a contextual conversation.

02 · Decisions

An architecture for different intentions

  1. 01

    Two-language content

Portuguese and English serve both the local audience and people arriving from other countries.

  2. 02

    School, course and events

Navigation separates recurring needs without fragmenting the institutional identity.

  3. 03

    Teachers as references

Their histories help explain the authority the school has already built.

  4. 04

    Contextual contact

Location and conversation prompts appear beside the information that motivates action.

03 · Solution

An institutional address for discovering and understanding the school

The page combines brand presentation, practical information, teachers, formats and events. Each section leads to a next step without depending on a single campaign.

The project has been developed and is under review. Student acquisition remains an objective until usage and conversion data exist.
